Want to hook notebook up to LCD HDTV and Game?

Do I stipulation a dvi to dvi cable? Or do I need a DVI to HDMI cable?

I want to play a activity on my 32inch LCD HDTV with my notebook computer. And enjoy sound coming from the TV.

You will have to do the video and nouns separately. You can get an adapter cable to shift from the DVI out on your laptop to the HDMI on your tv but that will only deliver picture.

You would also call for to go from the nouns output of your laptop to the audio in on the TV. An adapter near a stereo mini plug to RCA plugs should do it.
