I get vista, do i hold DX10?

i hold a ATI mobility x1400 256 mb video card with hyper memory. i also own a core 2 duo 2.0 ghz computer, running windows vista home premium. i cant find anywhere that tell me what version of DX i own, aren't i supposed to DX10? dose my video card support it? if i don't... how can i get it?

Answer:
I'm on XP, so if vista is totally different, this may not work, but if you can turn to run (in start), and type in dxdiag, hit ok, that will, surrounded by xp anyway, bring up the DirectX info tool, should tell you edition on there. Or only go to microsoft.com/directx - if you try to download up-to-the-minute version, it won't do anything when you run it if you already hold it.
go to profile files contained by c and look for folder name direct x
Your Video Card or Chip is not DX10. There are currently simply 2 cards that support DX10. Thats the Nvidia 800GTX and the 8000GTS.
