lenovo seem more expensive & i guess simply r series is available in centrino in 50k
hp on the other hand have quite a few models surrounded by 50k range

best would be spell out your application in as much detail, what do you plan the notebook for ... preferences etc.
the best is definately lenovo. you win lenovo laptop with biometric sensor(finger print), integrated camera & an integreted bluetooth. And adjectives this comes within INR 55000.
HP is better. I don't know more or less Rupees, but within matching amount in Australian dollars, you can achieve a MacBook Pro, which is heaps better, and you can also use Windows on it. But I reckon that in India, you won't bring the best specs. Though you can get an HP pavillion next to 1.7GhZ processor, 60 GB Hard Drive and 504 RAM for less than that. I saw it contained by Dehli, in some shopping arcade in Faridabad.

No doubt hp is the better than the best....! because hp is have more service centeres all over the world. Moreover the behaviour is more for hp than lenovo. You can get hp2046 laptop at rs52000. It have 14.2" widescreen display, 80GB hdd, 512MB ddr2 ram, dual core processor, dual division dvd writer with lightscribe technology, integrated webcam etc... every laptops within the market is have bluetooth and card reader so dont look on that when you buyng one. Look on the facilities that other laptops dont hold when you buy.
HP is the better one.. if u r planing to buy it from india.
HP got a better service leeway as compare to lenovo..
Again whats matters is the configration... walk for Intel core 2 duo, [specifically intel core 2 duo, this is the latest... in attendance are other lower processors are available like intel core duo, intel solo, cerelon etc.. but core 2 duo is d hottest ] And with 1gb run into, 100/160 SATA HDD, this will cost around 50 to 55K.. again depends on your barganing pawer and the dealer. cheers !
economically if its the price and the computting speed u are concerned tha the looks and buit

the lenovo or HP doesnt give any article as above model does at this cost.....
HP rage starts at 55000 or more.....not below that .....u will with the sole purpose get compaq.
lenovo i agree is more sturdy than the above acer models that i mentioned....rest is up to u......i hope u too draw from tempted after seeing the promotional offer acer is giving....check out the website

Lenovo and HP both are good but Lenovo is little bit bulky, not looks close to stylish where as HP is Stylish and its narration is also good. it comes inside 50 K with honourable one configuration.
