Keyboard isn't working. to go and get any communication that have other characters on its knob the fn button have pressed also

I have a laptop as ably and this has happen to me in times gone by. Because of the limited amount of space on laptop keyboards, they double-up some of the key so they can be used as a number pad or for spacial characters.
Most laptop keyboards own a special keyboard shortcut that turns on the second set of key. When this mode is turned on, the normal upright isn't available unless something like the Function (FN) switch is held down.
Unfortunately, the "shortcut" to enable/disable this differs by laptop Make/Model. Here are a couple of things to look for:
1: The laptop light indicator panel. Do you own a new fluffy on in the nouns the Num Lock and Caps Lock lights are usually located?
2: Look at your Function Keys (F1-F12). Many times these have little pictures or extra words to show they turn on special modes when the FN knob is pressed.
On my Toshiba laptop, I have a button that say Num Lock/ScrLck. If I hold down FN and press this key, my regular key stop working as it turns on the number/special characters on my keyboard.
As a final resort, check the Manufacturer's website. They should own a user guide available online that would give you the push button combination to use to disable the extra keys.

"Other characters" on the push button? If you listed what model of laptop you enjoy it might help. Make sure you don't hold the "function lock" key on, if your laptop have one. If rebooting doesn't fix it this isn't your problem.
Otherwise, the keyboard is probably broken and desires to be replaced.
However first you might want to remove the keyboard completely (detach ribbon cable and all) and blow it out near some compressed air, and consequently re-install it. That will eliminate the possibility of powered blockage (junk under the keys) or a bleak connection from the grand piano to the logic board.
