u could do it yourself, but, i'd recommend a short time ago getting the EXT HD. but if your comfortable opening up ur comp and stuff shift right ahead. and to be honest with you 1GB really won't receive a diff. i'd suggest speaking with a tech rep just about upgrades, but if u really want to make a difference achieve another computer

the shop is bring they r crooks tryin to sell u something. ok u own to get the right memory or it wont fit. if u get ddr memory then u have need of ddr. but if u got a alien comp its got ddr also u hold to know what speed ur memory is 2100/2700/3200. It will make a difference adding up memory. u will be able to multy tasks better. U can do it ur self its natural. just get underway up the side (with the power off) look were the other memory is. look at the dent in the memory and engineer it line up later push it in until u hear the pins that hold it snap 1 on top 1 on the bottom. put the side on next then power up.if the comp doesnt reconize it later turn if off and spring the bios this is a small plastic pin on the motherboard. should be by the battery. it is on 2 of the 3 pins. move it to the other 2 pins consequently back and thats it.
