I bought a laptop from Dell. Does this appear close to an appropriate price?

No monitor(I already own 2)
-Dimension E520,Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6300 (1.86GHz,1066FSB) with 2MB cache
-2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
-250GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200RPM)
-48X Combo Drive (I don't write dvds anyway)
-4 year constrained warranty
-$50 Dell Dollars Code

The price is $1029.

Answer:
Yes that is a fundamentally fair price. Good work!

Get an extra battery while you can and rotate it into the mix. Their battery have a disposition to die after a year.
Great price .... Excellent warranty (that alone is worth $300) !

Hi,

The price you hold paid is a moment ago right. Considering it is A$ as I am from Sydney? If it is in US$, later you have salaried 20-25% of what the price should have be.

Thanks,
Zubair
That is a decent price. I can notify you that a big chunk of it is the 4 year warranty, the processor (the E6300 isn't cheap!), and the hard drive which have a ton of space for being a small laptop drive.

You could settle for a slightly cheaper processor and I don`t know cut back to a 2 or 3 year warranty and pick up a $100 - $200.
Good price..Although I don't like Dell computers...great waranty
This is categorically a good deal. U made an intelligent choice contained by the combo drive and the warranty. I say gud choice surrounded by combo drive becos if u wud have chosen an DVD+-RW it wud own costed u more thn the rate u mentioned and moreover i dont think in that will be any need for the DVD+-RW becos u already hold 250 GB of hard drive !!!
NEways the price is gud
Very appropriate price!!!!!! and good concordat on the warranty too
