laptops enjoy to be much smaller and lighter. they use more compact equipment which also needs to be tough ample not to get broken when man shaken about etc. Also laptops inevitability to use equipment which are power efficient because of the constrained battery power. they would never use the price label as a sales ploy, otherwise someone would a short time ago sell laptops for cheaper and go and get way more sale. what a ridiculus idea!
I don't believe it's a ploy. In my experience, you are correct. For the same price you can get hold of a much better desktop but some people entail the mobility. For example, I work in organization and we just open a branch where I'll be working bit time so I need a topical computer there. I be torn for a long time between getting another desktop and getting a laptop. I decided on the laptop because surrounded by case I obligation to go to a group and present data, a laptop would be the ticket. Other reason for a laptop? People commute (trains, subways, buses, etc.) and can actually seize stuff done on the way to work.
All within all, laptops are so much more expensive because they use more expensive technology. It's frozen to shrink down all the stuff contained by a desktop to fit in a portable, 5 lb. suitcase.

its the price of convienence. i guess cog of the cost is the portable power source. You know that rechargable batteries are more expensive than disposable ones also the internal is more compact. i prefer a desktop too. Its alot easier for me to work on if stipulation be. My neice had her laptop dropped and she be without a computer for 2 months waiting for a eyeshade replacement
because they can make them expensive. similar to you said you would find it usefull and so does everyone else. so because they are needed they rase the prices!

I just bought a laptop because I don't enjoy much room, small flat. It's never been out of the house, so I suppose it's a bit daft really! It cost 499 quid, is that expensive? I imagine televisions are "expensive," because they don't in truth do anything much, do they? People pay fortunes for them, and bloody mobile phones.
As have been said already, you pay packet extra for small size & portability.
A modern high fall laptop with the correct software for your purpose will carry out just as capably as a desktop.

Hi, capably I have a desktop notebook and a laptop.
The laptop being top of the stock,
The PC being a short time less than top of the variety.
Laptops are overpriced AND over-rated.
But they have like mad more advantages than what desktop pcs do.
I personally prefer to stir on the laptop.
The games play better on my laptop and it is a tad faster.
However the pc is smaller amount likely to be tattered ( From me dropping the laptop on a few silly occasions )
Laptops are also adjectives as you can obviously move them around and appropriate them with you - Unless the battery-operated runs out after 5 hours - Which is a bummer.
