Well, if nearby is more than one person within the house then they can both use a laptop at equal time if they need to. There is also if a friend or relative comes over and you both want to use a laptop you can.
There is also the possibility that one may break and consequently you could use the other one whilst you are waiting for the repair.
Or you could use one for work and one for home or similar so that you can keep the two separate.
if u can use them both at alike time, of course...
their sure isn't any disadvantage
