Alienware Computers - Advice and Answers?

Recently my laptop be broken and now I'm looking for a current one, prefferably under $1000. I be looking at Alienware machines, and I found the 2GB/200GB laptop. My previous electronic devices have be 'roughly loved', and I'm wondering how well they stand up against the worst, how capably they perform, and if in that is someone here who owns one and can tell me rather bit about the buying process.

Answer:
i meditate alienware is an excellent choice. they provide more than just the requirements for any software and will ultimate a long time. if i were to buy a factory made contrivance i would choose alienware. alienware has the best top of the smudge factory built computer specially now that they get the physx graphics expansion and the nvidia 8800gtx graphics card( in armour you don't know what im talking something like this makes a surefire gaming machine). the material the use for the crust of the laptops is very upright and can survive some pretty tough falls(just dont go throwing it past its sell-by date a 3 story building).
I have established from experience to do this the next time I want a computer. Look up the computer that you want, i.e. Allienware, spawn a list of ALL the parts they include, and the prices. Take the roll of what you want to a LOCAL computer store and ask them how much to put one together for you. It will probably be very close the company from which you be going to order, and when the problems arise (my motherboard go bad and we have to play the ship it back, hang about for the replacement, install it yourself game) you will have a local place that you embezzle it to and they fix it in a daylight.
Alienware is a serious rip-off. Dell offers laptops equal to Alienware's for a cheaper price, surrounded by alot of cases the Dell laptops are alot better than Alienware's and are still cheaper.

I wouldn't go for an alienware, because you are paying a big chunk just for the "alienware" signature. I suggest you check out a online store such as Newegg.com, or tigerdirect.com. It's where i purchase adjectives my computers/parts.
Alienware laptops = higher trait, but its a super rip off.
Dell laptops = Lower element components, cheap,
I would suggest Asus laptops myself because they use quality products and also they are not over priced as near most other higher wrap up laptops. Also if you're considering a new laptop i would suggest waiting for the Santa Rosa lineup of laptops which proffer DX10 support and won't be too awfully expensive.
