Retarded Laptops?

i own a 2001 toshiba laptop which has already burned out 2 power adaptors. on my 3rd one and when i catch on it, i noticed it keep switching from battery power to charging backbone to battery power etc . and i hold to reach down the laptop and mess around with where on earth the cod plugs in till i catch back to "charging" again some times it stays "charging" next if i bump the laptop or somethen, it goes wager on to battery.and sometimes i wont ee that it switched to mobile and it goes limp after awhile. i dont think it could be the battery-operated, because obviouslt if it says charging and the percentage go up, then it can hold a charge. i suppose it might have a short surrounded by it or somthen, what do yall think ?

Answer:
Rechargeable battery have a memory so to speak. If not properly charged and maintain they can slowly loose the ability to fully recharge to within max capacity. They will show that they are charging but they are not reaching the appropriate level, thus causing the charger to over work and over roast.... Chargers have whats prearranged as a floater in them, they allow the charger to turn on and stale the flow of recharge power when the battery is not contained by need of recharge, thus abiding the battery from over charging, as resourcefully as saving the battery memory and life span... Get your battery-operated tested, first fully drain it dead, next run a full charge cycle fallowed by a test. Then run the laptop unplugged and see how long the charge second....
I don't really know, but let me give an account you you are not alone. My laptop has one and the same problem and it is the most annoying thing. I essentially gave up on the plug when I'm using it and newly leave it charging somewhere when I'm not.
It seem like the nouns from the AC adapter plug to the battery, that connector within is probably loose or does have a short.
Mine did this, check the place where on earth the cord goes into the computer, the metal entity that takes the charge may be crooked, if so, turn it sour, and try to straighten it, if it stays like that for too long (if to be precise the problem) it will break that thing sour, and you'll have to dispatch it in..thats what happen to me, or it could be a short in he rank, or your laptop could just be dumb, but it may be something as simple as checking cords and tape and straightening things
It sounds like a short surrounded by the wire. The battery-operated shouldn't have anything to do next to it as the laptop should be able to run in need the battery connected when it is connected to the power adapter.
