Please facilitate if you can! Where can I find a lcd monitor for a hp notebook?

I have a 90 day warranty disappeared on my hp notebook and the monitor stopped working. Upon calling HP of this problem, I shipped it to them and now they are describing me I had to own a new LCD monitor for it and that as you would expect, this isn't covered under warranty...Go amount! They are also telling me it is going to cost me 738.00 to enjoy it repaired and the truth is, it cost me less than 700.00 brand clean. I am now moved out to just try and fix it myself. I also would really approaching everyone to know, if you buy a hp, DON'T buy an extended warranty because the original warranty probably isn't any upright! Thanks for any help or suggestions!

You can find replacement LCD screen on EBay, used and new replacements for around $200-250.

Laptop warranty and their extended warrenties are well-worth it for defective parts. Of course, if the damage is due to user maltreat - and believe me, they can tell, later obviously it won't be covered. Did it really newly stop working on its own, or was it dropped, or be a drink spilled on it. If you didn't do anything to it, they have to prove near was user rough up. If they can't then they own to replace it.

Some companies (I know Dell does) have no-fault warranty plans which cover everything no-questions-asked. Of course these are not unlimted repairs. They're not going to replace your monitor or motherboard every weekend. There are mark out lines - I just don't know what they are.

Laptops are fragile electronic equipment. Most culture don't treat them that way.
