No it is not. You can burn playlists surrounded by iTunes to a CD. If you hold a large music library this can be difficult. You can also burn movies(to DVDs of course) contained by iTunes but you can not play them on DVD players. they will only work on itunes. If you own an iPod in the option enable the ipod so you can use it as an external intricate drive and put your music on to it as a hard drive not as the iPod surrounded by iTunes. You can also use flash drives to move your pictures or you could just use your iPod/hard drive to verbs every file you obligation. These are the only option i know of. I hope it helps
