they fashion these little things you can set your laptop on that have little fan inside. sold at any computer store. do not sit it on a pillow or bed. it will get Very Hot.
As stupid as this sounds dont put it on your knees even though its a LAPtop.
Most laptops only own cooling fans at the bottom so if it is on your knees or bed the fans obtain blocked and it over heats.
Any computer store should flog what the other posts mentioned as another solution.
