I hold no belief how to work the webcam on my hp pavilion laptop please someone facilitate me?
Answer:
I tried calling the HP customer ring center, and they could only recount me that there is a driver coming out by the stop of March 2007. They told me to check Microsoft's update website, as well as hp.com. The online chat support also referred me to the Muvee Auto Producer software, which is available as a trial software. However, this software couldn't sanction the integrated webcam.
HP.com will tell you in the order of using Quickplay to launch the webcam. As you probably figured out, Quickplay software does not permit you easily journal in realtime, store, and edit files. The HP chat support individual told me that the HP team is working on this issue. Unfortunately, in attendance is no updated webpage that can give you this information unless you individually telephone customer support.
Open Messenger, click on tools and run either the audio/visual wizard or webcam settings.
Then it will be available when you are using messenger
I also hold a dv6000 HP laptop with Vista Home Premium. After installing Yahoo Messenger the webcam worked and I be broadcasting. The next time I tried it--no broadcast, not even a picture contained by the window; camera lantern was on. I tried camera near the quickplay software and it worked. I even installed Live Messenger(the microsoft one) and it was broadcasting the first time I tried it, but after that it does not work. Odd that here is only one occupation source available in the webcam settings.
