What do I do subsequent after I install my clean rugged drive on my Inspiron E1505?

Do I turn on the computer and insert the cd that come with my computer and instigate to reinstall windows xp or is near something else I have to do?

Answer:
Just boot next to the CD, format the drive, and install. If you are installing Windows, it will format the drive as cog of the installation process.
