How do i coppers the DVD region code of my laptop?

i lately wanted to estimation a DVD a friend had sent me from the UK. when i tried to vista it, the player suggested i change the region code of my nouns top from 1 to 2, and it let me know that i could coppers it 4 more times.

now i'm trying to see some of my USA DVD's and can't find the program that change the region code back to region 1. i know i can still do it as i've simply changed it that once but i'm not sure where to look for this program. i hold a compaq with window XP installed.

You don't need a sperate program. it's contained by the hardware properties of the drive...just unscrew 'my computer' right click the drive and get properties, select hardware tab. Pick out your dvd drive and bring back the properties again and go to the region tab.

You'll singular get a few cracks at this until it's locked so if you plan to translate back and forth you'll call for to unlock the function.
