The most up-to-date processor from VIA, C7-M, is targeted to the mobile market and, fittingly to VIA, competes directly with Pentium M (Centrino platform),
In reality, the slide presented is really interesting: the mobile market can be divided into five category, and each CPU for this marketplace is targeted for some categories. For example, Turion 64 is targeted to Transportable, Full Size and Thin & Light category, while Pentium M and C7-M are targeted to Full Size, Thin & Light, Mini-Note and Ultraportable categories.
The size of C7-M is really star-studded. Measuring only 0.83” x 0.83” x 0.073” (21 mm x 21 mm x 1.85 mm) it is really complicated to believe that it has adjectives the features claimed by VIA.
VIA VN800: This chipset will feature FSB speeds of 400MSHz, 533MHz and 800MHz next to support for both DDR and DDR2 memory. It will use VIA's Unichrome Pro graphics processor with MPEG 2 decode support.

Please don't buy it because it is just and simply for Rs. 23,000/-. it is so cheap because it is either second mitt or it would be the laptop which is re repaired. It could also be the laptop used for display in the open market.
but if you still want to buy it, please go for sony's laptop for Rs. 27,000/-. because the laptop you are buying have only 1.5 ghz processor, which is too slow. You should opt for minimum of 2.0 ghz or above.
