Will PC-3200 work next to a PC-2700 computer?

I lately purchased an additional 1024mb of RAM for my laptop. According to the Toshiba website, my laptop uses PC-2700 memory so that is to say what I ordered. Upon receiving my memory surrounded by the mail I notice the receipt say "Free upgrade to PC-3200". If the memory would have worked minus any problems I would have lately left it, but it didn't. When I put the memory contained by, my computer will freeze or go to the blue blind (physical memory dump). I noticed that when I move the eyeshade or tap on the computer is when it freezes up. I hold no idea why that is to say related to the memory but when I take it out I can move the blind around all I want short any lockups or blue screens. Is here a driver I need for this? What is the problem? Is it because they sent me 3200? Can someone oblige me out?

If it was a desktop later I'd say YES it will work ... but lappy's are a in one piece different ballgame ... ring your vendor and see if they own the 2700 in stock and narrate them that the 3200 doesn't work ... you either want a complete compensation or the correct RAM

hmmm ... make sure its plugged within correctly then I don`t know try loading bios defaults ...if u in actuality recieved 3200 ram tho, i would prolly want the correct stuff and thats prolly the problem ...

if the manufacture quote 2700 then that process 2700, you have already found out that it don't work, you should own returned it right away the free upgrade is not what you want, and by putting it in the computer you could enjoy blown it, (ram) & (video chipset)

now for the computer,, you travel into the bios and set the system to the manufactures go amiss safe settings next reboot the system with the feeble ram contained by nothing else and hope for the best that it will return to the plain settings

It should work but it there is a small destiny that it is not compatible. There is also a small chance that the memory be defective. Try to return it.
