Sony methodical support?

I'm considering purchasing a Sony Vaio, but I enjoy no idea roughly what there warranty will cover. I would obtain the warranty with Onsite Service beside Accidental Damage from Handling Protection.

With my current computer with Dell service I be able to carry a
"new" hard drive to replace the broken one at no extra cost. I a short time ago had to convey it back to them. Does sony do one and the same thing? Some stuff I read give or take a few the service I got the depression that Sony will try to blame it on the person and not fix it even if its beneath warranty.
