It say theres wireless networks available but not the one for my home. Do I need to install the cd on my laptop to receive the internet to work. My laptop already has a web card inside of it so i dont need to use the usb adapter i dont suppose. Help please how to hook to the internet?

Your Laptop should pick up YOUR Wireless router if it's showing another Wireless network that ISN'T yours.
Try your laptop within the SAME room as your Wirelss Router and see if it picks it up then.
*IF* it still doesn't pick up your wireless Router, consequently I'd check your Wireless Router setup
