I simply realized the eyeshade saver on my Toshiba Satellite laptop is out of commission. I called the GEEK Squad and get NO help! Was told it may hold something to do with the power supply/source? I've lone had it 30 days and I any have to drive an hour and a partially for them to see it or pay for phone assistance. It was working when I first get it and I did try a system restore back to that date. It did not backing. No wild guesses please, I inevitability someone who knows what to do. Would really appreciate backing!!

Are you using External Optical Mouse or Wireless Mouse? If yes, that might be the problem. Because if you are using a wireless mouse, it will continuously send and receive signal to the laptop that cause the screen depositor to stop working.
Make sure you have a blind saver preferred (Display properties in Control panel) and that the activation threshold isn't excessive.
shift to desktop properties and check the screen investor settings.
