Is this laptop honourable to buy for US $440?

if it runs properly and has no problems, and if it certainly comes with adjectives thefeatures listed, than $440 is a quibble. laptops like that usually turn for upwards of $800-$900
It will be very slow next to Windows XP. Even basic things similar to booting up will be slow.
Firewall goes next to the wireless connection bluetooth. If you are at Starbucks for instance, you can own free internet access (using bluetooth) without somebody anyone able to hack into your computer (because of the firewall).
The SD card reader is so you can plug within your memory card (I'm calling them cards because that's what they look like even though they are call sandisks) from your digital camera if your camera uses such cards/disks. Some cameras use memory sticks that you put in the USB port.
