Need back copying to dvd?

I'm not really good near computers. I have some movies on my computer(I enjoy windows xp if tht make a diffrence). I downloaded vlc to watch them but want to put them on dvd presently. what do I need and be do I get it.

If you enjoy XP and your PC has a DVD writer, next it can directly write onto a blank DVD.
You can also download NEro or Roxio (both have freeware) which can be used for writing onto a DVD

You newly need to get hold of the material onto a folder, select them, right click and the "Send to" arrow will own your DVD writer as an option
CLick on that and consequently it will highlight impossible to tell apart and click on OK
If your files are in VIDEO_TS folder, the best path is use 1CLICKDVDCOPY. I am using it for more than 2 years
