Is a surge protector travel size sufficient to protect a laptop against the glorious voltage surrounded by India?

I call for something small to carry other, not an ups and so on.

Answer:
Yes a surge protector is sufficient to protect your laptop
id stack the protecters (3 max)
no it's not. the surge protector solely works if the power feed get a burst of power. the surge protector does not make a soaring or low voltage, it only puts out the voltage that it is pluged into. if you are useing 110. after that is adjectives you'll get. a transformer is what cuts or increases the power source. you'll necessitate to find out the voltage that they use in india and bring back something of an adapter to get to the voltage you entail.
You do not need it within India.
You may want to look into this but if your surge protector will plug into there outlets afterwards it should work but i think they own a hole different type of plug with different voltage close to 220 and that will make your knees top very swift so fast it will burn up .Go to fry's electronics they own what you need here i have see it on the shelf. your lap top runs on 12 volts . so be carefull
