I've get a choice of two laptops - which do you recommend?
Core 2 Duo (T5500) - 1.66ghz
1mb strike
80gb hdd
Some extras
AU$1,700 (US$1,320)
Second one:
Pentium M - 1.7ghz
512mb ram
60gb hdd
AU$1,360 (US$1,050)
I know that the first choice is a bit of an overkill for someone that's not going to be playing winter sport, but the question that arises to me is: wouldn't a faster processor later longer and take longer to become outdated? So really, even if I'm not going to be using the Core 2 Duo's dimensions right now, it's still a right choice - is that a true analysis?
What do you recommend? Is Pentium M even good? Thank profusely
Answer:
for 270 dlls diff... not worth it.. go for the 1st one
First one for sure.
seize the core 2 duo setup. If you buy a computer soon and dont get a dual core processor, you are throwing you money away. software will soon know how to use the extra power so it will be a good investment. Plus, you wont hold to upgrade as soon. Your analysis is right on. http://cnet.com
go for the first one, its simply 250 bucks more, and its not a bad config. if simply you were getting a bit more HDD space it would hold been a sweet promise.
here's a link on ebay where on earth you can read reviews of them by ebay members
