I want dvds on my laptop!?

i want to own movies-from my dvds, stored on my laptop so everytime i wanna watch one, i don't own to insert the disc. what program do i get and where on earth do i get it from?

Answers:
DVD Fab Platinum. Works great and have a 30 day free trial. Less than $50 if you resembling it. Well worth the money!
there are lots of programs that will do that for you, but i would influence for you to get alcohol 120%, this can also accumulate any othre disc on your computer, and you can 'emulate' them (meaning it tricks you computer into thinking that the disc is inserted)

or you can try cd anywhere 2.0 which ou can download for free here http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/downl...
You can try a google search using the following jargon:

rip dvd to hard drive
First you'll want to remove the protection from the DVD , if you want a free program then download "DVD 43" or "DVD Decrypter". BTW, It's a trial grey-area but if you own the original disk consequently it's legal satisfactory.

You will probably need to drastically decline the quality of the DVD to see it on your laptop - once you move a DVD movie onto a PC it goes from a fair 4-8 GB's in size to ten times the size! Not honourable.

Download a free copy of DVD Shrink 3.2 to easily trim down the size for playback on a computer.

You may find it easier to just put a few DVD's into a CD/DVD wallet and do it the aged fashioned way.
