Which laptop brand is prone to overheating?

I plan to buy a laptop for my university engineering course.
However, overheating has become an issue so I seriuosly stipulation some advice to to buy one. I'm kinda worried for the overheating and hardware ruin (which my friend has experienced it next to Dell).
Which brand is good for this purpose and which is not?

Asus - Did not have any
Acer - 9 out of 10 overheated
HP - 2 out of 7 overheated
Dell - 3 out of 29 overheated - abundant random problems but dell sent replacement parts at no cost
Toshiba - 12 out of 12 screen went out after 3 months of use
Fuji - Did not hold any
Gateway - 0 out of 8 overheated - however, 3 out of 8 had the cd/dvd drive stop working after 4 months and 2 out of 8 have the hard drives move about out.
well, virtually adjectives laptops get overheated rightly easily, and I agree that Dell get heated rather like greased lightning. Have you tried looking at places like Best Buy? The laptops near are usually on all light of day, and you'll be able to speak about if they're hot. If not, ask an employee for their assessment.
I think It doesnt depend by the configuration.It depends on till how much time u would use ur sys.If fans inside it are kaput properly ur system will get overheated.
Acer. They are specified for overheating. Then Toshiba. They stay cool. But, they have a infatuation of breaking their fans.
