I enjoy a Micron laptop. How do I fix it?

Okay my laptop is outmoded and I need to know a route to fix it. The person that give me the laptopm reformatted it but never fixed the problem. So all it does at the moment is start up and dance to the command screen the ultimate windows on it be windows98 (if it matters) so I need to know how to grasp it back to where on earth it works.

Sounds like it's is running but purely running DOS instead of windows. Get a Windows98 install disk, you should be capable of get one at the flea bazaar or somewhere. Install and it will be a running W98 PC.

here are the steps:
1) fly to new york city
2) embezzle a taxi to the empire state building
3) dance to the top of the building
4) throw it all the channel down
5) come pick it up..
and walaa its fixed..

It sounds as if the last character reformatted it and installed DOS.
You will need to install an operating system, such as XP. If they give you a restore disk, pop it into the CD-ROM drive and follow directions. If you don't have a restore disk, you'll own to obtain a disk elsewhere; try e-bay.
