get a macbook. You can find one at the Apple store at the train of the month at a greatly reduced rate, and you'll be far happier then if you acquire a busted vista machine..

consumer reports is your best answer. when I bought mine over a year ago toshiba be #1 over sony, but that doesn't mean things haven't changed. Of course if you buy one in a minute you are stuck with window vista that no one is glad with. So you want to tag on that into the mix. The sales nation will tell you anything lately to sell a computer. I can communicate you for the last 8 years everyone that I know that have had a dell have not been lively. People that own Apple love them. Lot of good reports on the part. except the schools they abominate them. Really because everything is new. I would clear the price for the consumers report. exspecially where you are spending that much money.Because I am not going to recount you to buy a toshiba because I love mine. You might get one specifically not good. so I am asking you to trust the consumer reports
