Any computer repair family out within...?

the place on my laptop where on earth i plug the power cord in seem to be messed up. it won't hold the cord steady, so the icon on the peak is always switching from freestyle to ac power. we bought another power cord recently but it is still not holding properly. we be told that if the problem persisted, it would be something inside the computer that needed to be repaired. i'm going to own it fixed soon, but first i would like to know if anyone can furnish me an estimate of what it should cost... the computer is 2 years old. also, if for some purpose i can't have it fixed right presently, are there any potential safekeeping hazards? gratefulness.

Answer:
the small power jack housing has probably come loose from the motherboard, repair costs ebb and flow depending on who fixes it and how easily available the replacement sector is.

if you know someone who's really good near a soldering iron they may be able to fix it for you beside the only cost self a piece of solder.
most likely your power pin is broken., its not expensive for the parts, but chore will be high
i can fix where on earth about are you i'm contained by uk oldham
Well there is potential safekeeping hazards which r u can bring back shock or mess up ur laptop if ur taking out things without due consideration and also its a pain it up wager on. if it won't hold i guess that thing that it plugs into is mess up and u'll probably enjoy to buy another one like that if you find it. Yea it can gain pretty expensive for the part but the installation should be farily cheap its the constituent that cost...good luck
This is a motherboard problem.

The nouns on the back or side of the laptop will lose the capability to hold or keep the power cord contained by place so that the laptop can use ac power or charge the battery. The one and only solution is have the motherboard replaced, but some receive by just jiggle the cord until you hit the right spot, but that can get boring. Call your laptops' manufacturer and check if they can suggest/do anything for you. If not, expect to clear $200+ for a replacement motherboard. [I've had two laptops just this minute have like peas in a pod problem - you have my condolences].

No potential safekeeping hazards...but I am drawing from my experience with the sole purpose.

Good luck!
