Which is a better laptop processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 or Intel core 2 duo mobile?

Answer:
lol wow.... everyone like the icd2..... personally, I don't similar to intel. after time, it seems not to run fairly as quickly as an AMD. AMD Typically runs a bit faster initially, but will run quicker on a constant proof than any intel. with intel, you come across to have period of super speed, then period of problems. I have individually had nil but trouble with intel, and insist that my company uses nought but AMD processors.

When AMD first came out, you could individual find them as spare parts because they hadn't caught on in the bigtime world of computers... nobody know what they were. Then, as they started picking up surrounded by sales, AMD, a short time ago like any other company that starts making money, started putting somewhat bit back into their product.... very soon, AMD is a very top of the rank processor. My supplier has a intricate time getting amd processors because of the cost... they run a bit higher within cost, but the true techie that has experience near them will know the difference, and understand why they are worth it.

the duo core technology simply doesn't give much to your experience, unless you run multiple high cpu programs at one time... ie: music, games, drafting programs, rendering programs, 3d games or sculptor programs, etc.

Everyone have their own opinion. You are intitled to your belief. Do some more hands on research... you might be surprised what you find. You might approaching something TOTALY different.

good luck, hope that help!!!
The Intel Core 2.
Intel core 2 duo..........I have it and I know it's the best
Intel core duo for sure.
C2D is better, both surrounded by speed and power efficiency.
Intel Core 2 Duo - a powerful and the fastest processor within the world (for now)
Intel Core 2 Duo.

That is what's in my laptop and it runs pretty expeditious, though it still won't run 3dmark any higher than 1 fps if at adjectives lol, I know, that's the video card's fault anyways.
AMD. Period. They are in reality the same gHz. pro. Think about this, an Intel 2.0gHz = AMD 2.17 = PowerPc (not Intel-Mac) 2.3gHz. There is a short time info for the day. Power ratings are not standardized, so Intel can rate their chips greater, and get away near it. You also have to give somebody a lift into account FSB rating AND voltage use. This is for a laptop after adjectives. Also, power dissipation. Intel chips run VERY hot. They also can not be overclocked while remaining stable. I have an AMD 3000+ 1.8 gHz running at 2.13ghz, and hold yet to break 48 degree C idle/59 degrees C nouns. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
2 Duo mobile
Core 2 Duo is better. It have 4 processors. Low voltage = cooler and consumes less zest. Specially when compared with the Athlon, because it be made for a desktop heh.
Easy one, as that is a trick interview rather. lol The X2 against which Intel Core 2 dual. Just similar to you can get a Intel chip to run better than a dual core, but when the dual core games and applications FINALLY come out later dual core will have the control and leave the single core trailing. Yea, I know, and when the quad core chips come out. hahaha

Here is the spec charts now. It depends on what you want presently and opinion. I would want the intel core 2 dual, basis that it can upgrade to 4 Gb of Ram. But you have to scrutinize it too. One a one to one basis AMD is usally better contained by the run than intel. You just own to keep up next to who is ahead of the game. Every week someone brings out a faster chip. In the long run, my subsequent chip is AMD though. But I will get one to button 4 GB though. lol

They're both similar, although Intel is better, you do pay more for them. In a experiment however, with the bake sink removed from the processors, both Intel processors survived while the AMD ones melted. But seeing as I doubt you are planning on doing that, it doesn't situation. But either approach, i'd go beside Intel.
