Memory Help?
Answer:
Visit http://www.coastmemory.com and look up your system.
You see, you did not look at the Bottom of your HP Pavilion to get the exact model number. It would not be dv5000, but a similar number within that series.
At Coast Memory, your machine may enjoy come with 512MB but near are only two slots. So you would want to buy 2 modules, 1GB respectively.
It is my best guess that if you bought (2) 1024MB-DDR333, 333MHz, PC2700, 200p SODIMM, 2.5v, Sync that they could cost $99 each for basically under $198.
You can call upon Coast Memory at 1-800-463-6679 but you pay slightly more than if you buy on-line.
You see, they enjoy the best price, but also guarantee that it WORKS. When I have gotten the wrong memory by MY mistake, they own always made it work out for me. So shift with confidence.
Good luck and Happy Computing!
