PCMCIA make laptop crash?

Whenever I insert my Belkin Wireless G plus MIMO exchange cards card into my laptop's PCMCIA port, the laptop hangs near only powering rotten and on fixing it. When I take the card out, the system restarts.

It worked fine for months until immediately. I recently upgraded my RAM but it even worked for a while after that.

I hold tried reinstalling drivers for the card and drivers for the PCMCIA port. I have tried reinstalling window but none of that works. Help?

Answer:
1. Check to make sure the pins enjoy not been undermined. (possibly on the laptop)
2. Try the card on another laptop.
3. Try ubuntu live linux (http://www.ubuntu.com) -- no need to install anything on your tough drive. See if it freezes there.

Hope this help,
Ken
