Batteries in a laptop are resembling the batteries within a car... they do wear out after awhile. So buy a current battery and afterwards you are back within business.

just use it approaching normal at home. make friends it with the other computer and use it for music downloads and such. if it get a problem with it later you don't have to verbs about your notebook having the problem.
Not really. This computer any needs to be repaired or replaced. Take it to the store you bought it from and compare prices earlier you make you subsequent move.
If you still want to keep it, try taking the battery-operated to a battery shop close to battery world. I don't know if they adjectives do it but some will refurbish a battery.
Otherwise you could supply it as spare parts, and try to recuperate some of your costs.
If you are interested surrounded by selling it, email me (thunderbox666@yahoo.com.au)
You could always nouns up an old altered copy of windows or a smaller OS close to linux and turn it into an interactive photo album
Why not try and sell parts of it on ebay?
People will buy anything on in that now-a-days.

Frisbee??
Your best bet would be to sell the laptop on ebay.
If it have tv out, you could use it as a media notebook.
Another option is you could donate it to charity and bring back a tax assumption.
The moment you buy a PC or notebook, the price will depreciate (In a accounting book, every year depreciate 20%), hence, it will be quite discouraging to know the price you can fetch if you are lucky (Don't waste time on ebay).
With the contemporary Vista and ever so demanding software avail within these 4 years, it will even more rebel to get a buyer.
My suggestion is to donate to schools or charity organisation. Painless and you will discern better as a person...
