Lines on my computer peak?

I own several vertical lines on my laptop screen. I don't know why they are within. There are several different colors. Does anyone know why they are there or how to catch rid of them?

Not normal. Signs that the monitor may be failing. You can see a comp tech. but more than feasible, just wear that laptop out and catch a new one.
