Wireless not connecting - what subsequent please?

Throw the router out the window. BUT FIRST.
1. unplug router power
2. unplug modem power
3. DO NOT catch the plugs mixed up!
4. count to 20.
5. plug in modem and survey the internet light. It'll do funky stuff, consequently blink slow, then quickly, then come on solid.
6. plug surrounded by router
7. restart computer
8. betcha it works. If it doesn't the router has a problem. You can any buy a new one or distribute this one to therapy to lend a hand it to overcome its problems. This may take years. :)
Try moving the router to someplace where on earth you are getting a better signal. The closer the router to the computer the better. Also, watch for interference from electrical sources (e.g. lights).
Do you hold WEP enabled on the router? This would require you to have the WEP knob on your PC. Click on the icon that say limited or no connectivity, and see what the specific error is.
