Extra battery, iKlear cleaning paraphernalia, Disc Warrior utility software, set of good aspect headphones beside a mini-jack, a small USB mouse.
Free downloads like AdiumX and Monolingual.
USB flashdrive, 2 gig's at lowest.
External back-up hard drive for at home for adjectives those tunes and pics.
Not knowing your budget, it's hard to register too much. I'm also got Adobe Creative Suite on mine.

If you want to game bring back a pc, macs own a pitiful number of compatible games.

I haven't really have to buy anything extra to do any of those things. I use a Logitech USB mouse with my MacBook Pro and some external speakers. I did buy a cheap bag. As far as software, I haven't bought anything but QuickTime Pro. I do plan on buying a Firewire hard drive contained by the near adjectives so I can make use of Leopard's Time Machine.
You should buy a soft computer grip (which really works), garage jam pack (which is a bit pricey) and microsoft office(for word, power point and excel).Also there is deeply of cool games for a mac computer if you look for them.
