Tightening a mac laptop lid?

I hold an old mac powerbook G3 and the lid is totally knackered. It wont stay up so I hold to use a prop all the time. As I cant see any observable hinges Im wondering how I can fix this problem. Any assist?

i own a G4 Powerbook at my house. When I get home i'll check and repress this business.

You'll probably have to capture the hinges replaced. The same point happened to my MacBook, and I be told by Applecare that there is really no channel to tighten the hinge without replacing it.hope this help and good luck...
