Broke my laptop. What subsequent?

Well I be trying to fix a broken dc jack on my laptop and I broke the touch pad cable clip where on earth it attaches onto the system board. I tried to get it to clip put money on up and added a drop of super glue to it and the mouse wipe doesnt work at all. Did the epoxy resin mess up the motherboard connection? Is the cable smoothly removable from the touch pad ? Any other planning? Thanks John

Here is an idea..... buy a fresh laptop. =||| Wish I could be more helpful.
Your computer desires some serious surgery dude. Take it to a repair store and see if they can replace the touchpad, it may cost you a pretty penny though.
yes it sounds like the gum is blocking the connection, unless it lately got destabilized from handling it. i would not mess with it any more as trying to remove it when it's connected w/superglue you could do more mess up to other components. what i would do is get a usb mouse, plug it contained by, and just not use the touchpad any more.

but the TRUE question... did you draw from the dc jack fixed? they can be such a pain!
No you probably aren't getting a pious seating beside the cable connection. Although if it powers on and you be manipulating the cable during that time, probability are you fried it. They are VERY sensitive to changes surrounded by voltage. maybe ebay.
Buy a different cable...
Get it fixed or just capture a new one.
