What laptop should i buy if i want the laptop to replace my desktop and use it for arts school everyday.?

Dell Inspiron 9300's are GREAT laptops, just as prompt as a desktop (or faster) and very reliable. The spanking new Dell XPS are also a good system, I own heard.
it depends on how much money u want to spend, but if i be u i would go beside a dell insperon 1705, i have one and it is the best computer i enjoy ever had
okay a laptop to replace a desktop would be a little spendy and big school are you sure? conceivably you should wait till college to receive a laptop and then they will be better and cheaper

Ram: 1gb or more
graphics: whatever unless you activity then at lowest a Nvidia 7600 or an 7800

HP, Ive owned Dell laptop's in times past, HP are far superior.
a 17 inch laptop isn't suitable for using in dignified school due to its mass. i recommend a laptop with 15.4 inch peak.

Start checking out local retail stores presently...with the contemporary Microsoft Vista coming out, stores are trying to get rid of their XP models...trust me, the laptop I bought yesterday would've cost twice but for 3 times as much 6 months ago. My Toshiba laptop...Intel Duo Core 2, 160 GB hard drive, 128 MB video card, 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM of memory, and so oodles other options (like blue tooth and WiFi, trubright, DVD RW multidrive, I've however to figure adjectives this stuff out)...ran me $800 (no rebate forms)...this is a steal. Check out the retailers...I'm sure there's lots of great deal. I've been contained by the market for buying a laptop for economically over a year and a half.
