Personally, I'm going to skulk for the 07 Office package to be on the marketplace for a while...hopefully Microsoft will lower the price in a year or so. I would recommend purchasing Office 03 Student and Teachers edition. It is something like 1/3rd of the price of the regular Office package.
You would hold to Buy Offico 2003, because it does not come in the window update, but i believe you can still download the Office 2007 beta2, that one is free, i got it a while ago, so i am not sure if you can still download it.
Go to openoffice.org. You can catch software for free that looks and acts close to Office and is 100% compatible. ANd I want to repeat...for free. Legally for free.
No viruses, not prohibited.
And the money ends up in your pocket...not microsoft. Unless you would similar to to send it to me ;-)
