What's the best processor surrounded by your feelings for laptops?

im an amd devotee but even i admit that for a laptop the best processor is intels core 2 duo. heres why:
its if truth be told a desktop processor so its better than a notebook proc. ; it has a high-ranking clock rate (up to 3+ghz) and can be overclocked easily and resourcefully; it is excellent for mutltitasking and outmatches athalon in every track (:(( i hate that lol); its dual core and its sturdy to get that on a laptop surrounded by another model.

I would say the Intel Core 2 Duo's, all-round excellent. Only unenthusiastic aspect is they are more expensive than the AMD Turions for example but totally worth it, I have a Turion X2 laptop myself and dislike it.

Currently I would recommend going beside the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This processor performs better than an Intel Core Duo beside the same processor speed. It also supposedly operate cooler than a Core Duo.
Brand new Centrino Pro processors (Santa Rosa refresh) own a core speed of 2.2 Ghz and up to 2.4 Ghz. Check out the Asus G1S or G2S, they are top of the line laptops for a excellent price. If you don't carefulness so much about the companies history (ASUS make great products but has grim customer support), go beside one of these. Otherwise, Core 2 Duo is the way to move about.
Pentium M.
lower power consumption, longer battery energy. But you traid to preformance for battery enthusiasm. Pentium also are forgiving when they over heat. I hold seen AMD chips die because they over heated when the vent on the side of the laptop had clogged. Pentium will turn sour and will not be damaged they enjoy a highter thermal tolerance.
If you need preformance you wnat a full rate P4 but you will receive no more than an Hr of Batt life per charge. My laptop I dont use it beside the battery surrounded by it because I;m always on AC and the Batt will be over charged if never drained, this will bring preformance degridation.
