How do i see my laptop to play a zone 1 dvd?

I live contained by the UK and recently i bought a dvd from the States online not realising we are within different zones. Is here a way of enable my laptop's dvd player to play a zone 1 dvd? I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. Thanks.

Answer:
uncap my computer and right click your DVD drive, hit properties then hardware, after hi light your drive and hit properties at the bottom, another resort box will appear, this new box will hold a DVD REGION option tab, you vary the region from here. You have a constrained amount of times you can change the region formerly it locks to the last one used.

A better prospect is to use a free player like VLC medium player.

You should be capable of use anyDVD for this. It is a pay software, and in that are free alternatives you could use such ad dvddecripter, but after you would have to rip it to your rugged drive and its just impracticable.
There is usually n option contained by your media player allowing you to amendment the region..depends which software is installed
try the video player VLC. I think it feel any region. Plus it runs pretty smooth with no codecs to download.
