Labtop Processor AMD verse Intel?
With former experienses with both of them I found AMD to be faster, but I hold no experienses on labtops. Too me the price isn't that big of a factor, which one should I get if the intel 1.8 ghz and the AMD 2.0ghz for laptops are impossible to tell apart price with the Intel 2.0ghz costing an extra 300 bucks?
Answer:
Both will do the brief. AMD is usually better in vocabulary of the price vs performance ratio, but for the laptop processors, I've hear really good things roughly the Intel Core duos.
I purchased / built my laptop with Intel dual core, because it be out before the turion X2, and because the laptop have everything else I wanted (X1600 video card). But I am enormously much an AMD fan.

The Core 2 Duo is the fastest processor architechture structure available at this time. It is much faster than anything AMD offers at the moment,
awesome laptop wants awesome processor
t7200 is just model
2.0 ghz, 667 mhz fsb, 4 mb l2 cache
the 1.8 ghz has just 2 mb l2 cache
the tl-60 is cache starved., 512 kb x 2
I'd go beside the Core 2 Duo
The Core 2 Duo is faster, unfortunately.
(I'm an AMD boy)
I only just bought a Hp laptop with AMD Turion 64 mobile processor.
I be told by the guy at the store that when running certain programs that this processor is a moment or two faster then the pentiums
but it be only when it get to utilize it's 64 what ever..
other wise it is necessarily the same
