When you speak you have no repair disk are you explanation you do not have the XP disks that most regularly come with the computer. You can as you would expect "repair" from the XP disk that came next to your computer or just reinstall it. If you do not hold the disks then you are not going to know how to go fund to the "beginning of time" with out them or another OS set of disk. ---- Check your info that come with your computer if they did not transport you any disks -- Or the heck with window and load UBUNTU (a newspaper of linux) , it's free and better.

There is probably no way since even the restore disk would not be exact. I am faultless that something minor would be missing or added.
The closest is to erase everything and use the restore disk or partition.
Short answer you can't...
By definition a restore to factory settings would wipe your computer verbs including any files you've added to it.
Firstly back up adjectives your files onto CD, DVD or another computer via a net and then do a factory reset.
Your computer entrepreneur should have provided you beside a restore cd.
