I am getting my first laptop and i be wondering is it not detrimental to will it on adjectives the time?

Yes you can vacate it on, but as an advice, I guess you also requirement to give some rest on your Laptop, even it is a unknown one, and theres a warranty. i turn mine of because the lover is a moving part and have all moving parts eventually wear out. similar to a cars engine, i dont leave mine running because in attendance really isnt a point and though it isnt going anywhere or doing anything it would still put wear and tear on it. also if your gonna check out of your laptop on make sure the vent can find good airflow, will it on a solid surface not a blanket or something
i havent turned my laptop off within weeks and it seems fine
newly put it in hibernation mode when you're done beside it. Most laptops do that automatically once you close the screen. That's what I do and it works great.
