What Would Cause My Laptop to Shut Down?

I not long dropped my laptop, but so far everything is working relatively well. However, I enjoy noticed that if I put the battery-operated in it stays on for a while and next shuts down, but if I I just use the AC Adapter in need the battery it works fine. I enjoy used AVG to see if it was a possible virus or any errors, but so far nil has showed up contained by the results. To be honest, I think that it is something wrong near the battery, because it works fine minus the battery. Any thinking?

if you've dropped it perhaps you've tatty one of the battery cell , then that would grounds issues hardware wise.

as for anti virus, u run a firewall as okay i hope ?

when u scanned for virus , try tapping f8 on boot. protected mode. then scan. that will be better for finding anything hiding.

sounds similar to a power off likelihood is set in the control panel stir there ,and below power options , look at the option for while under freestyle only power, see if its set to shut down after so long .. ..

Your guess is right. Most probably that the battery is worn out already, Rechargable battery have existence spans also, depending on the number of months or years you can use it or the number of times it has be charged (sometimes after 1000 charges they die out). Try to buy a new battery-operated.
