Will delete some of my programs increase the RAM amount on my computer?

I hold 508 and need 512 MB

Answer:
No. Closing some of the running programs or removing them from startup will free up bump. It is impossible to free up *all* the ram, though, some will be taken up by the operating system. If you come up with you need 512 because a activity or other software program says it requires 512MB, you don't requirement to free any up. When they list system requirements it take into account that not adjectives of the ram will be available.
no, the RAM comes when you buy it. Deleting programs will singular give you more available complicated drive space. If you want RAM, take your cp to a store and enjoy them fix it up!
No. The number just way that some is in use..The 508 will run anything calling for 512
I'm sorry but it doesn't work close to that. Your going to need to buy some more knock against. The good report is that's usually cheap and easy to install. http://www.crucial.com/

well...except that if your rock-hard drive is full or nearly full there may be some issues next to Virtual Memory...but I don't think that effects free RAM.....
Your amount of RAM never change; it is determined when you purchase your system. Deleting programs may free up some of that RAM so more is available but the total RAM amount itself will not increase.

Hello gumbyreprezent@sbcglobal.,

Actually deleting programs from your rock-hard drive only effects your knotty drive space. It doesn't necessarily have any effect on your Random Access Memory (RAM). You have need of RAM to operate those programs.

Your best option is to buy more RAM chips for your computer. You will find that your computer will operate closely better and faster with more RAM added. I'm mode of surprised that you can get anything to run near just 508 Megs immediately days. It seems similar to now you necessitate at least 512 MB or more lately to run the Operating System.

Best of luck to you.

ITs very few and far between when you'll get a RAM of 512MB which will hold exactly 512MB on it. This problem is with adjectives RAM modules, even with sturdy drives. A hard drive of 80 or 120 or doesn`t matter what size in GB wont really total to that amount when you will see it contained by your disk manager.
You dont inevitability to worry abt 4 MB smaller number of your RAM coz its nevertheless a 512MB RAM and it works as good also.
delteing programs simply free hard drive space, more RAM requires the side to be past its sell-by date and actually puttin a RAM chip within.
Ram is the amount used to run programs. turning off programs contained by the background will oblige. It will not give you more total hit but will make programs run fast and smoother. I use ram boost to speed up games and photo programs.
