Spilled wine on my mac laptop and it shorted out... is at hand anything I can do?

They are probably quoting you a price for motherboard replacement. If the computer "shorted out" you don't really know what parts, if any, have gone fruitless. A motherboard replacement kind of covers everything. The problem might truly be in the grand piano, as that would most likely transport the brunt of a spill.
I would first take the freestyle out. Then, if you are comfortable opening it up, or know a tech who can oblige, I would let it dry completely while undo.
I would then rinse out the wine off any places inside the computer using an electronic cleaner spray. These sprays are made from solvents that evaporate against the clock and do not harm circuitry. Let the spray dry bad, then examination the power supply. If the PS is working, try putting it back together and firing it up. You might win lucky.
If not, you have at lowest possible cleaned out the wine. If you have Apple Care, you can next bring it in and simply influence it doesn't work... ;-)

Go to your nearest Mac retail outlet and ask them where on earth to get it fixed, it should be covered by warranty/guarantee except very infirm.

i dono what u can do but all i can enunciate is check up online if any1 has any thinking and maybe u can try it. but not to bring ur hopes down or anything but i doubt it will fix only just like that. u may enjoy to take it to the company and repair it contained by the end so fitting luck man. u may hate this answer but u gotta come to authenticity....u spilled wine on it and its not gunna be repaired unless u take it to them.
