Start by maxing out the RAM, also moving up to a 7200rpm hard drive will be the subsequent step.
make sure u enjoy at least 1gb of memory, 2 if u can. brand sure it has a faithful graphics card, if it says intergrated or intel graphics accelerator, afterwards its not dedicated. A steadfast graphics card will let u play most games. Also create sure the processor is a core 2 duo
Get an Apple. When you get it, download Firefox though. Apple Computers are smaller quantity prone to viruses and any bugs and they run extremly promptly. They are rather expensive, so you might enjoy to save up.
Look somewhere else besides Dell!
I agree, a Mac is the mode to go.
I don't really know, but I would never suggest using Dell Customer Support effect it sucks a** and they waste your time.
* Hardware upgrade
Most of time, the bottleneck is too little memory. Upgrading memory will speed the computer seriously if you have <1G mem very soon. If you have with the sole purpose cpu, upgrade to duo-core will increase the speed too.
* Software solution
1) Remove unuseful software/applications.
2) Disk Defragment
3) Remove temp files
Good luck! :)
if you got a cheap dell, consequently your out of luck. most cheap dells hold integrated video card. like everyone said, upgrade your memory and buy a 512 mb stick or 1gb, upgrade your hd, and video card. nearby is nothing else you can do. when buying a contemporary computer, look for the bus speed, lots of memory, fast processor, fitting graphic card, and sturdy drive space.
are u doing this on dell so u can make payments or so u can own a custom computer? check out cyperpowerpc or buyxg, i like them much better than dell and u still receive the custom computer u want. as for fast, attain the best processor and most ram u can afford. minimum 1gb, 2gb prefered. 7200rpm concrete drive, and good videocard (nvidea non intergrated)
win a free laptop on this site instead of buying retail
